| I live in Cold Spring New York and have a weekend cottage 9 miles away in Manitou.
The cottage is on the Hudson River just north of the Bear Mountain Bridge.
I have been married for 34 years to Karen Jache.
I kayak on the Hudson River a lot, more than 100 days in 2009. My longest kayak trip in 2009 was 15 days and 200 miles down the Hudson from Fort Edwards to Manhattan.
I have been on three trips down Colorado River through the Grand Canyon in a kayak, so far.
I hike as often as I can, mostly on sections of the Appalachian Trail, the longest group of sections I have hiked is in New York from the new Jersey Border to the Connecticut Border. |
